Certification of the quality management system according to DIN EN 9100. Award of the „Golden Hadron Award“ by the CERN research center, Geneva.

Approval by the German Federal Office of Defence Technology and Procurement (BWB) as a „Certified Contractor for Bundeswehr Aircraft Systems“. Turnover worldwide 28 million Euro with 220 employees.

2003

Change of the corporate name to Transtechnik GmbH & Co. KG and integration into the Drosten Group, Schramberg.

1998

Foundation of Transtechnik Asia Pacific in Sydney, Australia as a representative office for the Far East and the Pacific markets.

1995

Transtechnik was the only supplier who fulfilled the technical requirements for the qualification process of CERN. Start of development of the first 600 A / 12 V converter for the LHC (Large Hadron Collider) at the CERN laboratory in Geneva.

1994

Foundation of transrail Corp., a fully owned subsidiary. Today: transtechnik Corp. USA.

1984

The development and prototype of the first static auxiliary power converter for the Municipal Transport Services of Muelheim/Ruhr was completed.

1978

First development for MBB (today Eurocopter EADS), ground test system for the hydraulic functions of the military aircraft „Tornado“.

1972

First development for lighting systems: dimmers for the Bavarian Broadcasting Company (Bayerischer Rundfunk). Design & manufacturing of regulation systems for rotating motor/alternator sets, initial start of the converter business.

1968

Transtechnik was founded by three individuals in Munich performing research and development along with construction of automatic bench test units for electromechanical equipment.
